We may collect information about you and your devices in a variety of ways to ensure the proper functionality of the smart assistant. The information we may collect via the App includes:

Information You Provide to Us

• Personal Data: If you create an account to synchronize your data, we may collect basic information such as your name, email address, and authentication profile details.
• Sensor Data (IoT Telemetry): The App collects telemetry data from your connected sensors (such as the HHCC Flora Monitor). This includes soil moisture, temperature, light intensity, and electrical conductivity (EC). This data is necessary to provide analytics for your virtual plant clusters.
• Device Permissions (Bluetooth and Location): To scan, pair, and read data from BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) sensors in the background, the App requires access to your Bluetooth module. Due to operating system architectures (specifically Android), permission to access your location may also be required to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. We do not track, store, or transmit your actual physical location.
• Device Usage Data: We automatically collect technical information about how you interact with the App (crash logs, UI performance) to improve product stability.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device & Push Data: To deliver real-time updates and notifications, we collect and store your device's push notification tokens (FCM tokens) and platform type (iOS or Android) within our secure storage infrastructure.
• Notification History: We maintain a localized log of recent push notifications sent to you (e.g., "Plants care" alerts) to display an in-app notification history log.

Use of Your Information

The collected telemetry and system information allow us to provide you with a smooth, fast, and personalized experience. Specifically, we use the collected data to:

• Ensure local caching of charts and zero-latency App performance (Local-First approach).
• Sync sensor history with our cloud servers to prevent data loss.
• Generate AI-powered recommendations, plant care advice, and predictive watering schedules.
• Deliver aggregated push notifications regarding critical changes in soil or lighting conditions.
• Execute background tasks (Background Fetch) for silent synchronization with sensors when the App is minimized.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information and sensor telemetry only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and to provide you with our services. Data is stored in a secure cloud infrastructure utilizing modern encryption standards during transmission (SSL/TLS).

Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or plant data to third parties.

Your data may only be shared with trusted third-party service providers (such as cloud infrastructure providers like Google Cloud / Firebase) exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the App&s technical operation (database storage, processing RAG requests via neural networks, sending notifications). These providers are bound by strict confidentiality obligations.

Security of Your Data

The security of your data is important to us. We use commercially reasonable technical measures to protect the information we collect, including secure server gateways for processing API requests. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Database Stack: Your live operational travel records are synchronized via secured storage. Push tokens, notification logs, and user tier records are handled via a private backend connected to an isolated storage instance.
• Security Practices: We utilize standard TLS encryption for data in transit and adhere to programmatic Firestore Security Rules to restrict trip write/read permissions exclusively to designated owners and members.
• Retention: We retain data as long as your account remains active. You can request the removal of specific trips or your entire account identity directly through the App settings.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We disclose your information only to specific infrastructure processors required to run the service:

• Google Firebase Cloud Services: For database persistence, user account authentication, and push delivery (FCM).
• RevenueCat: For real-time validation of your premium App Store entitlements.
• Resend / Postmark: For delivering transactional trip invitation emails to your designated friends or co-travelers.

Delete account

You can delete your account directly within the mobile app or by submitting a request on the:
